Don't forget Mom!

Make plans to spend Saturday in Glendale with Mom. Start at the Visitor Center and pick up the first flower and the map to the day's activities. Be sure to hit all the shops that are on the map and by the end of the day you will have a beautiful bouquet. We started this tradition in the area years ago and it is a very nice way to spend the day with Mom. There are fantastic places to eat lunch, great shops to explore and there's no better place to come and slow down, take your time and enjoy the atmosphere than the downtown area. And, if you in the need of a great gift for mom, you will for sure find something wonderful and unique in our little corner of the world. There is a shop for everyone, from cooking to sparkly bling to glass to bears and everything else in between.

Shop news -

We have received some great new games from Ravensburger. Chugga Choo Choo is a hoot - the train goes around on the track and the object is to load all your cargo balls into your hopper car - the first one to do that wins. Sounds easy - but it isn't! Very good for hand/eye coordination and it's cute to boot.

Some of the Steiff items have started to arrive. If you missed seeing Violet at the trunk show this year, she's a beauty. Light lavender mohair that has violets embroidered all over, she's a very sweet bear.

We've done some housecleaning and have put some things on sale. Drop on in to check out the selection - there's items from every section of the shop.

The 21st of May is the last That Thursday Thing and it's a fun one - Pajamas and Tiaras - made just for Valerie - the jammie queen! We'll be open until 8 that night, as will lots of our neighboring shops. It's fun to come in your p.j.'s but you don't have to, and it is a perfect excuse for us all to wear tiaras!

Come on by and see us, the bears love the company.
